The plot:

A Valentine’s Murder

It is 1850. On a certain day of the year, Norfolk man, Jack Valentine, runs a lucrative trade delivering billets doux and other tokens of love between lovers who may have their own reasons for wanting to stay anonymous! Those who harbour secret love are always keen to open their doors and find out if 'Jack Valentine' has left anything on their doorsteps.

However, this year, Jack is finding himself plagued with problems. Some of the gifts and letters he is being paid to deliver are going missing – or worse, being delivered to the wrong person. Some people are getting rude – even threatening – messages! Jack is also finding his son Cedric, whom he is training up to run the family business, disappointingly ‘limp’, in the delivery department.

Does someone want to sabotage Jack’s trade? Is he being used for nefarious ends? What is Cedric reallyup to?

Join us for this comedy of errors, where misplaced messages of love may spell murder! Victorian dress encouraged but certainly not compulsory.
