Hare Comes Easter Afternoon Tea
Hop to it—our Easter Afternoon Tea is back, and it’s egg-stra special! Not only does it tip an Easter bonnet at the pink sheep of Latitude Festival in neighbouring Suffolk, but it also references our homegrown accent where asking about a bear might mean you're looking for the new Paddington sculpture at Norwich Cathedral OR that you fancy a pint! This tea is available for the following diets – no allergens, intolerances or preferences (Classic), with 24-hours’ notice, vegetarian or dairy-free or vegan or gluten-free (menus below) and with 48 hours’ notice, vegetarian and gluten-free, vegetarian and dairy-free and dairy-free and gluten-free. For guests with multiple dietary requirements, we now offer a non-themed allergen tea – please see here. Got a question about afternoon tea? It's probably answered here! All bookings are for one of our Georgian dining rooms, including the restaurant and Ivory Room.

Our gluten-free afternoon tea is prepared separately from gluten-containing foods, using dedicated utensils, separate ingredients and storage. Our kitchen and front of house teams follow strict allergen protocols. HOWEVER, while we take every possible precaution, we do operate a mixed kitchen where gluten is present and, as outlined on our menus, website, and at the time of booking, we cannot guarantee any dish is entirely free from allergens due to the potential for airborne or microscopic cross-contact. This means our afternoon teas MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR COELIAC DINERS. Many coeliac guests dine with us safely and regularly, but we recognise that even with stringent procedures, there is always an element of risk.
