One of our Grand rooms in the historic East Wing of The Assembly House, first-floor Room Eight is the hotel room that keeps on giving!

Boasting our standard five-star luxury, Room Eight is consistently a guest favourite with plenty of quirky features which make staying with us an even bigger adventure.

From the landing (where you'll find sweeties if you're lucky!) walk into this mellow lilac and mint room filled with original artwork, antiques and period furniture and then head into your own private corridor where on one side you'll find a marble bathroom with a dual-bathing roll-top tub and drench shower and on the other, your very own balcony!

A gorgeous room with large 6ft bed and views from the East side of the House, we’re not surprised people love it so much!

Please note: once you check in at reception, there is a one minute walk outside to reach this accommodation area, staff will show you to your room. There is a flight of steps to reach Room Eight and no lift in the East Wing.

Check in is from 3pm on your day of arrival and check-out is at 11am on the day of your departure. If you require a late check-out, please contact a member of staff who will try to arrange this for you for a small supplement.
